The modular built ANALYSETTE MicroTec plus consists of a central measuring unit for the angular aperture measuring of the scattered light intensity and different dispersion modules, which can be exchanged quickly and simply without tools. Hereby it is without any problems possible to adjust the entire system at a later date to possibly new requirements of the dispersion.
The particle size range covered by the measuring unit reaches from 0.08 µm (80 nm) up to 2000 µm.
The Laser Particle Sizer ANALYSETTE 22 MicroTec plus, is an universally applicable instrument for the determination of the particle size distribution of samples in powder form, of solids in suspensions and of emulsions.
The instrument is suitable for the utilization in quality and process control. Due to the highly flexible programmability of the entire dispersion and measuring process, it is also very apt for research and development.
The large measuring range is obtained with the utilization of two lasers with different wave length. A green laser is used for the small particle range whereas an IR-laser is utilized for the measurement of larger particles.
Due to the typical FRITSCH movability of the measuring cell, the captured angle area of the diffracted respectively scattered laser light can be matched to the requirements of the individual sample. With larger particles a large distance between measuring cell and detector is chosen, so the here appearing small diffraction angles can still be detected very well. With fine and very fine powders, optimal conditions for the measurement of large scattering angles are obtained by selecting a small distance between measurement cell and detector distance. This is the trick which results in high resolution and excellent sensitivity.
With a folded optical path, a compact design is obtained and due to a clever arrangement of the measurement cell, a fast and safe exchange of the selectable measuring ranges.
The as a cartridge designed measuring cell allows the simple and tool-free exchange between different dispersion units as well as the fast and comfortable cleaning of the measuring cell.
The ANALYSETTE MicroTec plus is designed as a modular system. Beside the measuring unit one or several dispersion units are needed for wet and or dry measurement. Dispersion units can without great effort be further purchased at any time and connected effortless with the central measuring unit.
All measuring cells of the MicroTec plus are located in practical cartridges that can be easily exchanged when switching between wet and dry measurements in seconds. And completely without changing any hoses or modifying the instrument!
The Laser Particle Sizer ANALYSETTE 22 MicroTec plus purchase includes a notebook* and the software MaS control – already installed, so no additional software installation is necessary. The MaS control software is based on a relational database, in which all user entries, parameters and results are saved for later inspection.
Printer for outputting the complete measuring reports as well as additional computers (also with already installed software) can be ordered as accessories.
